Senior Legal Counsel
If you are a seasoned and motivated lawyer with ambition to become an impactful legal counsel in Nordic and The Baltics, to grow and be exposed to legal operations in a fast-paced industry environment as part of a first-class Legal team who is transforming the legal operations through technology and simplification, this is an outstanding opportunity to your career. General purpose of the role is to provide legal support to Nokia’s commercial operations in Nordic & Baltics,
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and strategic legal advice to the Customer Operations in Nordic countries and The Baltic, carrier and enterprise transactions, including drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements end-to-end, in coordination with the relevant sales team and other legal and corporate functions as needed
- Support the sales teams and Legal across Nokia’s internal approval process for sales transactions, and become the legal expert and pivotal point of contact for the legal support to the accounts under scope
- First point of contact for commercial claims, disputes and litigation management and reporting
- Key advisor in compliance matters, ambassador of Nokia’s global compliance program in the countries
- Support to the M&A transactions in the Nordic countries as needed
- Support to the global integration programs of Nokia in the countries within scope
- Support to the local procurement teams in back-to-back contracts with local suppliers and subcontractors
- Provide advise end-to-end in connection with the customer activities on various topics in liaison with other relevant stakeholders of Nokia.
Join our team if you are:
- Qualified lawyer admitted by the Bar in one Nordic relevant jurisdiction
- 7-10 years practicing in a law firm as a commercial legal counsel with exposure to IT / Telecommunication companies having worked in complex contracts
- Fluent English (business proficiency) and at least one Nordic language
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with strong commercial sense on risk and reward
- Proven capability to engage on multiple levels of customer organizations, excellent communication skills
- High degree of independence, organized, self-starter with can-do attitude
- You are a Team player and a hands-on professional
