Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Driver to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of driving experience in Dubai and have excellent communication skills in the English language. The Driver will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and/or goods in accordance with company policies and local traffic regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles, ensuring the comfort and security of passengers and/or goods during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices at all times.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, performing regular inspections and reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Plan routes effectively to optimize time and fuel efficiency, taking into consideration any traffic or road conditions.
- Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating a professional and courteous attitude towards passengers or clients.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items, ensuring their safety and security.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information as required.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs as per scheduled assignments.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to interact with passengers, clients, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience in Dubai, with a valid UAE driving license.
- Excellent communication skills in the English language, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Dubai's roads, traffic regulations, and routes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to interact with passengers and clients in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Good physical health and stamina, as the role may involve long periods of driving.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
