Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage sales and business development activities and customer relationships to ensure sales targets are achieved,
  • Maintain and develop relationship with customers via frequent direct contacts and establish new business relationships with prospects,
  • Promote Croda’s products and solutions within the region and coordinate projects and development work with customers.
  • Liaise with all necessary Croda functions as required (e.g., Sites, Supply Chain, Finance, PAD) to ensure all requirements (customer & Croda) are fulfilled from order receipt to cash collection,
  • Report promptly on the business (e.g., call visit reports) for the relevant region, identifying any threats and developing a mitigation plan, creating new opportunities and developing a game plan to commercialization.
  • Assist in the promotion of new and existing products by attending exhibitions and undertaking marketing projects as directed by sales management,
  • Supervise the orders in cooperation with Customer Service, and update forecast in a timely manner for stock management perspective.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields,
  • Fluent in Turkish, advanced in English
  • Good in MS Office programs
  • Prefer to have an experience in personal care ingredients market.
  • Willingness to travel - business trips (25% working time).
  • Ability to communicate on a technical level (cooperation with R&D departments) as well as negotiation skills (cooperation with purchasing departments).
  • Sales skills, the ability to document sales result, highly developed interpersonal communication skills.
  • High motivation to achieve the goals, loyalty, ability to work in a team.
  • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills required.
  • Good organizational & time management skills – able to prioritize work.
  • Strong customer focus.
