JOB DESCRIPTION
Dispatcher
We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to add to our team.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Schedules drivers for jobs, selects most efficient routes for each driver.
- Oversees equipment availability; assigns drivers, and trucks.
- Evaluate customer calls and assign the best technician to each service appointment.
- Maintains radio and/or phone contact with drivers; receives and dispatches response and emergency aid when needed.
- Relay accurate information to technicians, ensuing proficient, quality customer experiences.
- Manage the whereabouts and needs of every technician in the field
- Maintains and reviews billing and operation records; monitors daily logs.
- Oversees maintenance and repair schedules for vehicles.
Performs other related duties as assigned
- Be professional and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business.
- Respond to customer requests, resolving issues and promoting Company
- Participate in training to boost sales and ensure quick, accurate dispatch of incoming orders.
- Update customers throughout the day on the technician's progress.
- Follow up on leads and unsold work from our technicians.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to prepare and assign routes.
- Basic understanding of geographical area and mapping programs to facilitate efficient routing.
- Proficient with or able to quickly learn dispatch and recordkeeping systems.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure.
- Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Highly motivated, flexible and great attitude.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
