Position: Groundworks Supervisor
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced groundworks supervisor to lead our team installing raft foundations for a block of seven terraced homes at our development in Burton on Trent. It is the responsibility of the person carrying out the work to ensure compliance with relevant building regulations or applicable technical standards.
Skills:
- Ability to read drawings, diagrams, and schematics
- Ability to install steel supports and shuttering
- Ability to lay raft foundations
- Ability to lead and manage co-workers
- Health and Safety in Construction
Pay: £400-600 per day, plus end of project bonus
Job Types: Temporary contract, Freelance
Contract length: 1 month
Salary: £400.00-£600.00 per day
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Burton-On-Trent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Groundworks: 3 years (required)
- Raft Foundation: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- CIS (preferred)
Work Location: In person
