ROLE SUMMARY:

Kensington School is a co-educational, independent, British School in Spain, housed in purpose-built campus in the suburbs of this dynamic and attractive city.

Around 1100 students between the ages of 18 months and 18 years are registered here. The school offers the English National Curriculum up to the age of 14, after which children can opt to follow an IGCSE programme, or the Spanish National Curriculum. Our student body is predominantly Spanish, although with a growing international component. The school is an I.B. candidate school, and is a candidate school for the I.B. Diploma programme. We are characterised by a warm, friendly ethos, a close relationship with our families and the children in our care, and a commitment to academic and sporting excellence.

Inspired is seeking to appoint a native Primary Teacher ( KS2 ) to join us for an immediate start on a permanent, full-time basis. What we offer:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for the following:
  • Teaching a full-time timetable.
  • Planning and delivering a range of classes across Key Stage 2.
  • Commitment and interest in group planning.
  • Tutorial responsibilities.
  • Willingness to take part in educational trips and visits.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience with English-speaking students in primary education.
  • Confidence with use of ICT in teaching
  • University degree in appropriate subject
  • U.K. qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • An E.U. passport or the right to work in Spain.

  • Excellent preparation and planning
  • Assessment of student outcomes and feedback to enhance performance
